Camp N Ride 2017

Camp N Ride 2017 Registration is OPEN! 

Come join us for a fun-filled, ladies-only riding weekend away from your daily grind, leaving your troubles behind to take in the beautiful south-western part of Pennsylvania's mountainous and scenic byways.

This year's weekend getaway will be a return trip to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania.  We loved it so much last year we decided to do it again! For those who prefer camping indoors will be staying in a beautiful log cabin with plenty of room to relax, rejuvenate, and relate. But don't worry, for the hardcore campers, we still have tent-camping sites for you as well. Because space is limited for our private lodge, please sign up quickly or you will miss out. 
Three delicious meals will be included in the weekend package price: Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner, and Sunday morning breakfast, and all three meals will leave you feeling full and satisfied. 

The weekend begins at Tramontin Harley-Davidson right off of Interstate 80 in Hope, New Jersey. For those who want to ride out together, we will be leaving Tramontin at 10:30 am. We are planning a scenic trip across I-80 west to right outside of Lewisburg, we will finish our tour to our awaiting accommodations going through some of Pennsylvania’s most gorgeous back roads passing through Amish countryside and mountainous landscapes. 

For those of you that would like to meet us there the address is on the flyer.  Check-in time is 3pm. 

After arriving at the cabin, you'll have the opportunity to stroll the resort, go swimming, or just relax before heading off to the resort's restaurant/bar for dinner at your own cost. The restaurant’s menu is filled with many great choices for all different palates. 

Saturday starts off with a bountiful all-included breakfast buffet which will keep you fortified for you to enjoy any of our beautiful planned-out routes that will be prepared for you to choose from.  We will be also offering a short group run to take you to Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon in Wellsboro. Enjoy the picturesque views both sides have to offer. Spend the day exploring the back roads of Pennsylvania. 

After some time to explore, take a dip, or to just rest, a great-tasting dinner buffet will be offered. After dinner, you can stay and enjoy music in the resort's bar or return back to the cabin where you can just relax, play pool in the cabin's recreation room, or just sit in front of a warm fire, toasting marshmallows or just hanging out. 

Sunday morning will include another delicious breakfast to keep you full and satisfied for the ride home. The group will provide a planned ride home (optional) that will take you on more of Pennsylvania's scenic byways with a few scenic overlook spots just to get off the bike for a little bit and maybe have a bite to eat. (Lunch on the way home is also not included in the weekend getaway.)

Camp N Ride 2016 was another success!

We gathered at Tramontin HD in Hope, NJ at 1pm and left promptly at 2pm on Friday, August 26 for our 3rd annual Camp n Ride weekend.  We ran into traffic problems on Rte 80W so we attempted to avoid it by taking several back roads. The unexpected delay added a few extra hours to the trip but it is always worth it when riding. The weather was wonderful. We were all a bit tired when we arrived at Happy Acres Resort in Waterville, PA but after settling down and enjoying the great food and accommodations that welcomed us, we all had a wonderful day!  

On Saturday, we cruised through the hills of the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, stopped at Leonard Harrison State Park, enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Pat Reeder's Tavern, then back to the campground where some went swimming and others relaxed.  We all enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Happy Acres Restaurant & Wildlife Lounge then topped the night off with a relaxing campfire! Relaxing around a campfire is a sure fire way to relate and rejuvenate while getting to know a little bit about each other.  

Sunday morning we headed home after a delicious breakfast.  The day was beautiful for riding!  We couldn't have asked for better weather! As we enjoyed riding the winding roads, we came across an old porcupine taking his sweet time crossing the bridge we intended to cross. The short delay was worth watching nature remind us that we are traveling through their territory.  We continued on enjoying the scenery Route 6 in Pennsylvania has to offer. We stopped for lunch at Chris's Western Beef on route 6 then one by one, each of us broke off to their own journey home!  

It was a great weekend to ride, relax, relate and rejuvenate with old and new friends!  Camp N Ride 2017 planning has already begun.  Stay tuned for more details!

It's almost time to ride, relax, relate and rejuvenate on the 2016 Camp N Ride!  

For all the lady riders that are joining us this year, we are looking forward to a fun-filled weekend featuring great rides, good food and new friends!

After dinner, you can stay and enjoy music in the resort's bar or return back to the cabin where you can just relax, play pool in the cabin's recreation room, or just sit in front of a warm fire, toasting marshmallows or just hanging out.
